The key to the success is one word - Volunteer - everyone in this organization is giving of their time. About 10 or so of these volunteers work pretty much year round for this organization. Beginning in the early spring, our group of volunteers grows greatly, and without this help, we could not do what we do. Below you will find information about some of our general volunteer positions, which include selling, decorating, barbecuing, serving and clean-up (to name a few). We really do encourage you to jump on board and help to keep this great tradition going!

In 2009 we lost 2 long time volunteers and great men, who will be dearly missed and never forgotten...

The Lopez Fireworks crew or "the pyrotechnic team" is responsible for putting together and shooting what has become the highlight and signature of each years celebration. Some members have been with the crew since it all started nearly 25 years ago . It really is amazing the amount of time that this crew puts in year after year, and if you have seen the displays, you know how good they are at what they do.
